Series: Asian countries you never knew existed (Episode 2)

Welcome beautiful men and handsome women to episode 2 of this series. For some of us that don't like school, we use this platform to remind ourselves that we know book small, as bad as e bad, e no too bad. If i decided to take a poll to find out the number of Asian countries we know, it cannot be more than 6 and if you now want to do like omni-knowest, it cannot be more than 10. We learn every day and the beautiful thing about knowledge is that it cannot be lost, except you fall down from a high place, break your head and lose your memory😐.  Macau, Macau or Macao, officially the Macao special administrative region of the people's republic of China (MSAR), is another Asian country that i just found out about some hours ago. It is a special administrative region of China in the Western Pearl River Delta by the South China Sea, with a population of about 680,000. It is the most densely populated region in the world and was formerly a Portuguese colony. Initially named A Ma Gao ...

Would you like to eat ramen with me?

Take it easy, okay, Don't let your mind go wild. I mean, "would you like to eat ramen with me?" literally. If you happen to find yourself in South Korea, please do not take it literally though, it has a deeper meaning which is equivalent to "wanna Netflix and chill?" and if you still do not know what that means dear early men and women, it means "do you want to have sex with me?". You are safe here, don't worryπŸ˜…. I just gave you a life tip, thank me by reading on.   Let's not confuse things, we have ramen and ramyeon, ramyeon is derived from the Japanese ramen which is noodles made with fresh ingredients and spices usually served at restaurants. Meanwhile, ramyeon refers to instant noodles with dried vegetables and artificial flavouring. I asked you if you would eat ramen with me for a reason, we are going to the roots cupcakes, i do have your permission and attention by now I hope, so fasten your seat belts for a tour of ramen history. Ramen...

Celebrating the new year in Asian countries: Everything seems to be really different with them

Happy happy new year and happy new month beautiful people πŸ’ƒ even though the year is already 32 days in and January felt it didn't want to finish. I hope you had the best Christmas and new year celebration because I did alongside my house girl duties and wife material training. Anyway, as we are still in the jolly mood and the new year spirit, some of our brothers, sisters, and paternal grand cousins in different countries in Asia haven't caught up. Amazing right? They are still wrapping their 2022 goals, while some of us have ticked off the first point in our new year resolutions like eating 10 times a day and looking for a husband because we are getting oldπŸ˜“πŸ˜….    The Thai new year called Songkran is celebrated on April 13th to April 15th according to the Western calendar in Laos and some other parts of Southeast Asia. In premodern times, the date varied and was calculated according to the soli-lunar calendar. Songkran is a festival of purification and its main featur...

My  beautiful ladies and stunning men, i'm back, back like i never left and i'm taking you to  places you have never heard or seenπŸ’£πŸ’£. Slow and steady gives you the fattest bones abi  how do they say it😎.  Our first episode in this series is the beautiful CHRISTMAS  ISLAND,  yep, you saw it right, what you saw is what it is.   Christmas Island is an Asian country with Australia as it's external territory. It is located  in  the Indian Ocean and has a population of 2000 residents.Their official language is  English which is understandable because i can't imagine how messy it will be if each ethnic  group spoke their individual languages. You will hear ni hao from a Chinese man and a  Malaysian will reply with selamat , with a  corresponding sata...

Be my bride the Asian way would you? Pt 2

Based on the request from my last post,we are going to have to leave China folks. You can choose to join the new ride to the Philippines or stay in China, don't sha get deported. Filipino weddings are a beautiful fusion of  modern and historic customs,it is a tradition of two families coming together not two individuals. Family is a big deal and has a lot of influence in the Filipino wedding. "Baby, even if my parents don't agree,we'll elope" doesn't work here oo,the two families have to become friends and if that doesn't work...well,you might just end up running away and live happily ever afterπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ˜…. Weeks or months before the wedding.the period of Panliligaw is observed where the man has to woo his partner to eventually win her hand in marriage, some men in the rural areas do this by way of Harana(serenade) where they would sing underneath women's bedroom windows at night, you will just mistakenly fall down and hit your teeth while singing(leemaoo) and ...

Be my bride the Asian way, would you?πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Getting married to an Asian? It doesn’t sound too bad, I will just do my disownment send forth alongside because my mom won’t have it at all, and no she is not racist, she just loves her fellow Uarians in her family lineage, just kiddingπŸ˜‚. That’s my own situation, no one can tell what the future holds for you, you might get married to a Philippine or a Korean, Chinese or even a Thai person and for my Indian simps, you might find your Raja and Rahul tooπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‡πŸ˜›πŸ˜‚. Let it not be that I'm raising anybody’s hopes high, just calm down, your Chukwudi is waiting for you somewhere ok, do not be dismayed. Asian weddings are actually a beautiful sight to behold, it is always characterised by an array of ceremonies, occasions and rituals. These marriages are a riot of colours and are fun- filled events. Let's start with Chinese weddings, it’s a lavish affair marked by rituals and traditions, many symbolic aspects focus on blessings of prosperity. Chinese...

WHAT'S THE WHOLE FUSS ABOUT ASIA?

Asia is one of the seven continents; North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Antarctica and Australia (I literally just sang that song relating to this continent stuff to remember it πŸ˜‚my life outsideπŸ™†).. Some people have grouped Asia with Europe to form a single continent called Eurasia which sounds weird πŸ˜’but it hasn’t eliminated Asia and Europe from being separate continents. I recently just found out that Asia consists of more than one country not like recently but like three years ago (lol, nobody should come for me abeg, I did not know, I did not know). I always thought they were all Chinese people (our “Chin Chun” brothers)😁 before I realized Asia had over twenty countries under it, the popular ones we know are China, Korea, Japan, Thailand. We also have India, Indonesia, Israel, Pakistan, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, Taiwan and many more under Asia. Sometimes I feel a lot of people have “beef” against the Asians probably because they inven...
