You are safe here, don't worry๐ . I just gave you a life tip, thank me by reading on.
Let's not confuse things, we have ramen and ramyeon, ramyeon is derived from the Japanese ramen which is noodles made with fresh ingredients and spices usually served at restaurants. Meanwhile, ramyeon refers to instant noodles with dried vegetables and artificial flavouring. I asked you if you would eat ramen with me for a reason, we are going to the roots cupcakes, i do have your permission and attention by now I hope, so fasten your seat belts for a tour of ramen history.
After its initial appearance in the late 19th century, ramen quickly grew to be one of Japan's most popular dishes. The growth in ramen was synonymous with the industrialization of Japan. As wages for Japanese labourers increased in the 1980s, so did the amount of independently owned eateries in Japan. As people moved to the city to find better jobs, they also found shina soba (Chinese noodles). Shina soba fitted the needs of their busy lives, it was convenient, affordable and delicious. The dish was made relatively quickly and consumed even quicker. Another factor that contributed to the popularization of ramen was the invention of the noodle making machine. The machine initially appeared in Japan in 1883, and in only a few decades, using the noodle maker became more popular than making noodles by hand.
